ABOUT THE PARADE: The National Cherry Blossom Parade begins at 10AM on Saturday, April 14, and proceeds along Constitution Ave from 16th Street to 7th Street. It features marching bands, floats, balloons and other family entertainment. The reserved parade seats are on Constitution Ave.

VISITING THE CHERRY TREES: A great way to take in the sights of any city is by foot and that's true in Washington at cherry blossom time. With the vitality of spring and pleasant weather enjoy the trip to the blossoms by foot, with landmarks and monuments along the way. The cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin are close to many Metro stations, including: Archives-Navy Memorial, Penn Quarter, Federal Triangle, Foggy Bottom-GWU, La Enfant Plaza and the Smithsonian.
